Modern Slavery

Modern slavery refers to the exploitation of individuals through coercion, deception, or force, depriving them of their freedom and autonomy. The Modern Slavery Act 2015 is a UK law aimed at combating modern slavery and human trafficking, providing a framework for the protection of victims and the prosecution of offenders.

With a strong commitment to social responsibility, Delta rigorously complies with its legal and regulatory responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We take a proactive approach to ensuring that slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation don't exist within any part of our business or supply chains.

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires certain commercial organisations to publish an annual statement setting out the steps they take to prevent modern slavery in their business and their supply chains. Delta was formed when CHP and Estuary Housing Association merged on 1 April 2026. You can read our individual statements for the financial year ending 31 March 2025, on CHP or Estuary’s websites.

In the coming months, we'll be prioritising developing Delta’s Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the year ending 31 March 2026, as well as actions to continue to improve our approach in line with our risks.
