About us

We’re a locally managed and governed housing association, with offices in Chelmsford and Southend-on-Sea. Established in April 2026, we were formed through the merger of CHP and Estuary, two long-standing and well-respected housing associations.  

We own and manage over 17,000 homes across Essex and its neighbouring counties. Many of these homes are for social and affordable rent.  

We also provide housing services for people living independently in sheltered schemes and offer care and support services to people living with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and/or physical disabilities.  

We develop and invest in homes to help meet local housing need, provide low-cost home ownership options such as shared ownership, and manage leasehold homes.  

Our range of services aims to help customers live safely and comfortably in their homes, from tackling issues such as anti-social behaviour to assisting with welfare benefits claims.  

We place great importance on listening to customers, working closely with them to continually improve our support, and responding to their diverse needs.
