The Housing Quality Network (HQN) scheme recognises housing providers that exceed good-practice standards and deliver a best-in-class service to customers.

We're a Gas Safe registered organisation. We're committed to providing the highest possible standard of safe working practices in everything we do.

We're approved by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC). This means we've been assessed as competent to carry out electrical work in line with the UK wiring requirements.

Dementia Friends, led by Alzheimer’s Society, is changing perceptions of dementia across the UK. As an accredited dementia-friendly organisation, we’re dedicated to making our services more accessible and supportive for people living with dementia.

The Disability Confident Scheme encourages employers to think differently about disability. This accreditation reflects our commitment to creating opportunities and supporting career development for people with disabilities.

Essex Pride is an annual festival celebrating LGBTQ+ communities. In 2024, 2025, and 2026, our employees and customers took part in the Pride march, celebrating diversity and acceptance. We also ran our own stall, giving people the chance to share their experiences with us and helping us better understand their needs.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower helps people discreetly show they have a non-visible disability or condition and may need extra support, understanding, or time. We encourage employees and visitors to use the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower in our offices.

Housing Diversity Network (HDN) supports organisations, individuals, and communities in the housing sector to address inequality and embrace diversity. It provides advice and practical guidance and ensures that Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is highly visible. HDN have supported us to develop our EDI actions.

HouseProud is a network group for LGBTQ+ people working in social housing. It’s a forum to share information and best practice relating to customers and employees.

The LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge, by HouseProud and delivered by Stonewall Housing, recognises social housing providers that champion equality and inclusion for LGBTQ+ residents. We’re proud to hold Pledge Pioneer accreditation.

Achieving the Inclusive Employers Standard Bronze accreditation demonstrates our commitment to inclusion and a workplace where everyone feels welcome and supported.

Being recognised as a Stonewall Proud Employer Trailblazer reflects our leadership in LGBTQ+ inclusion and our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone can be themselves.

We’ve regularly attended Southend Pride and will continue to do so in the years to come, helping us to connect with customers and the community.
